Privacy policy
Plyo is the home for AI-built projects. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Plyo is run from the UK. Questions: hello@plyo.dev.
Plyo is in beta, and so is this policy. If we change it, we'll update the date above and email you about anything significant. Anything unclear — write to hello@plyo.dev and a human will answer.
What we collect
- Your account. You sign in with an email magic link or with GitHub. Either way we store your email address and name.
- Your projects. When you upload or import a project, we store its code as a git repository so we can keep your version history, build it, and serve it when you publish.
- GitHub access. If you connect GitHub, we store an access token so we can read your repositories. It's encrypted, and we only store it if you choose to connect.
- Secrets. Any API keys or environment variables you add to a project are encrypted at rest.
What we don't do
- No ads.
- No selling or sharing your data with brokers or advertisers.
- No third-party analytics on the site or in the app right now. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
Who your projects are visible to
Projects are private by default. Nothing is public until you press Publish, and you can take a published site down at any time.
Services we rely on
A few companies process data on our behalf, each for one job:
- Hetzner — hosting. Our servers are in the EU.
- Resend — sends transactional email, like your magic sign-in links.
- Sentry — error monitoring, so we find out when something breaks.
Cookies
One session cookie, to keep you signed in. That's the lot — no tracking cookies.
Your data, your call
- Export. Your project is real, standard code. Download it as a zip or clone it with git whenever you like.
- Delete. You can delete your projects and your account. Deleted projects are recoverable for 30 days (in case you change your mind), then permanently removed.
Under UK data protection law you can also ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or complain to the ICO. For any of that, email hello@plyo.dev.
