Getting an AI-built site online: every easy option, compared
All of these get a site online without learning GitHub or a terminal. They differ on what happens after the first link, which is where most of the pain in this category actually lives.
| option | first link | updates & versions | watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Netlify Drop | seconds, drag a folder, no account | re-drag; no history; account needed for permanence | anonymous drops expire; keys ship as-dropped |
| Tiiny.host | seconds, drag a zip | replace the zip; minimal history | free tier is one site; features paywalled |
| Cloudflare Pages | minutes, account + dashboard upload | solid, keeps deployments | interface assumes developer vocabulary |
| your builder's button (Lovable/Bolt/Replit) | one click inside the tool | fine while you stay in that tool | setup doesn't survive switching tools, and everyone switches |
| "ask the AI to deploy it" | works surprisingly often | the AI improvises a different path each time | you own an account you didn't choose, configured in ways nobody wrote down |
| Plyo | a couple of minutes, free account | same URL forever, full version history, instant rollback | free tier is 3 projects |
Picking honestly
A single throwaway page: Netlify Drop or Tiiny, and it isn't close. Staying inside one builder forever: its own button is fine. The moment it's a real project (updates, multiple tools, something you'd hate to lose) the ranking flips, because the job stops being "get a link" and becomes "keep a living site healthy": stable URL, history, rollback, and ideally a check that the AI didn't leave a secret key in the files. That last combination is the gap Plyo was built for, and it's the difference you can't see on day one but feel by week three.
Whichever you choose, run the free key-leak scan against the live site before sharing the link widely. Exposed keys are the one mistake in this category that costs real money.
Plyo is the home for AI-built projects — every version saved, one click to undo, one click to publish, plus a safety check, visitor counts and backups. Free to start: 3 projects, no card needed.
